As a freelance journalist, I am dedicated to telling stories that explore the many different ways that people connect to place—particularly in the context of the natural world. Through the power of place-based storytelling, I aim to amplify the voices of underrepresented demographics and unpack the many experiences being seen on the landscape amid rapid environmental and social change. I recently graduated from the University of Montana with a master’s degree in natural resources and environmental science journalism. I have been published in High Country News, Grist, Audubon, Mongabay, Business Insider, Entrepreneur, and Forbes Centroamerica—amongst others.
